I chose to watch this years Cowes to Torquay powerboat race 2026 from a boat. Trying to get closer to the action and capture action shots. This years winner being Double Trouble.

The Compass Jellyfish is native to UK waters. As we were walking along the coast in Cowes, my friend pointed out a jellyfish, she said it was a Compass jellyfish (Chrysaora hysoscella). A beautiful early-evening walk past the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes, with the sails illuminated by the sun.  I saw this photo, with the RYS canons in the foreground. I really like the contrast of the vibrancy of the colours, the bold pink sail in front, followed by the two solid bold blue sails, and then the punch of yellow and red.
