Beautiful South Wales

I recently had a trip with a photographic group to South Wales. South Wales has stunningly beautiful countryside and sweeping landscapes and calming streams and waterfalls.

Cenarth Falls – Cenarth

Cenarth is a fascinating village on the border of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire. The focus of the village is Cenarth Falls, a series of small waterfalls and pools on the river Teifi and a well-known salmon leap.

There has been a mill at Cenarth since the 13th century when Cenarth mill came into the possession of Edward I when he became Lord of the Manor of Cenarth.

Glasfynydd Forest is an extensive area of coniferous plantations in the west of the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales. It straddles the border between the counties of Powys and Carmarthenshire.
